Hola everyone. I just wanted to share with you the recipe for my ma's super delicious, Creamy Garlic Chicken.

Its succulent, mouth-watering taste will have you hooked after just one bite!

INGREDIENTS

4 chicken breasts   Goya seasoning   Flour   Olive oil
2 tablespoons butter   1 whole head of sliced garlic   1/2 cup water
1, 12 ounce can of evaporated milk   1/2 cup white cooking wine
1 chicken bouillon cube   1/2 teaspoon garlic powder   1/2 teaspoon corn starch

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Poke holes into your chicken breasts with a fork so that the flavor can seep into the meat better. Lightly baste them with olive oil and season with the Goya seasoning. Place the chicken in a sealed bag or container and let them marinate for about 3 hours in the refrigerator.

  2. Remove from the refrigerator and coat the chicken in flour.

  3. In a large skillet on medium-high heat, combine 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Once the skillet is hot, sauté the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it's golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.

  4. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add another tablespoon of butter to the pan. Once it melts, add the garlic cloves. Cook them for 3-4 minutes, stirring often, until they're lightly browned on the outside.

  5. Add the water, wine, chicken bouillon cube, corn starch, and garlic powder to the pan. Let it cook for about 4 minutes or until the liquid is noticeably reduced.

  6. Add the evaporated milk to the sauce and keep stirring until it starts to thicken. Add the chicken back into the pan. Let it cook for another 5 minutes or so, until the sauce is reduced and the chicken is thoroughly cooked through. Serve nice and hot with white rice or one of your favorite side dishes.
